Hit A Thon

'25 Fundraiser Information:

It's GAME ON for the 2025 CVLL Hit-A-Thon, brought to you by D-BAT! 
Does your player want to win a Hype Fire bat? We have one up for grabs, along with a ton of fun prizes and incentives to get your player excited to compete and raise funds! You can start collecting pledges today, and come ready to compete on April 5, 2025, at Fiore Field.

Hit-A-Thon Event:
In addition to hitting, baserunning, and pitching challenges with prizes for all ages, players who are Little League age 9-12 will be competing in the official T-Mobile Home Run Derby. The winner could advance to the Regional Final at Seattle Mariners Stadium, and then on to the National Final at Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA! When and where is the Hit-A-Thon?
The Hit-A-Thon is on Saturday, April 5 at Fiore Fields. Challenges are interspersed between and after games. A detailed schedule will be released March 27, 2025.

How do I play?
Every CVLL player is welcome to play. We suggest a minimum donation of $35, with prize incentives starting at the $50 level.

How will it be structured?

There will be three main challenges for all ages:

→ Pitching Speed challenge at the D-BAT Pitching Booth, with prizes to the top 3 in each field division.

→ Baserunning challenge, with prizes to the top 3 in each field division.

→ Hitting challenge for players from Fields 1, 3, and 4. Hit for distance and at targets to win prizes.

→ Home Run Derby for players from Field 2, Dover, and Waverly. Swing for the fences with prizes to the top 3 home run hitters in each field division.

What is the T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby?
This is a competition for players Little League age 9-12. We will run it concurrently with our Hit-A-Thon Home Run Derby. Each player gets 1:30 to hit as many home runs at 170’ as possible. The top 10 move on to a semi-final round, with the top 5 competing in a final round. All 3 rounds are added to determine the winner. Our winner is then in the running to be selected for the T-Mobile Little League Home Run Derby Regional Finals in Seattle, WA. The top 4 players from the Regional Finals move on to compete in the T-Mobile Home Run Derby National Finals at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA!

Is the event only for Hit-a-Thon participants?
Not at all! Everyone is welcome to enjoy watching the events. We will have D-BAT, Love Rohan coffee, Kona Ice, Hat Saga, and other vendors on site!

What are the prizes?
Fundraising incentives are outlined above. For event prizes, please check back soon!

How do I get started?
Every CVLL Player has a personalized fundraising page through 99 Pledges. Parents were emailed a link- if you did not receive one, please reach out to [email protected]. Simply share this link via text, email, and social media to request donations.  

What is the fundraising timeframe?
Fundraising is underway now and ends Saturday April 5, 2025.

How much are we trying to raise this year?
We have set a goal of $20,000, which breaks down to roughly $50 per player.


What will funds be used for?  

Facility Improvements:
- Add refillable water stations, starting with two at Fiore and one at Dover (2025)
- Add bleacher and dugout covers at Waverly (2025)
- Build covered shade structure by Fiore snack shack (2025/2026)
- Add more shaded areas at all fields (2026+)
- Make improvements to Fiore parking lot (2027+)
- Create picnic and seating areas around all fields (2027+)

Programs:
- Expand partnership with Dodger Training Academy to include more coaches in mentorship program, offer position-specific player clinics, and introduce off-season programming opportunities (ongoing)
- Grow the Challenger Program and ensure ongoing ability to subsidize registration fees (ongoing)
- Continue to offer the James David Street Memorial Scholarship Award (ongoing)
