To apply for the 2010 season, use the Umpire
Application form below.
Training
Feb 23rd 7pm to 9pm
Mandatory rules class for first
and second year umpires will be Feb 23rd 7pm to
9pm at CCTO church located on the corner of Avenida
de Las Flores and Keats. Playing rule books will be
provided, please bring a pen and paper for notes.
This is the one and only class, no make ups.
Sunday Feb 28th
1pm
Mandatory umpire field
clinic Sunday 2/28 at Dover and Hendrix field,
starts at 1pm and should end around 3:30pm. The
older more experienced umpires will be
demonstrating field position, stances, etc.
Please wear something comfortable and bring
something to drink. The more attentive you are
the quicker we can get through this. I will pass
out indicators and if I have the caps I will
pass them out as well at this class.
No one will be excused from this class, all
umpires must attend.
March 2nd
6:30pm to 9pm
Mandatory Supplemental rules class is
Tuesday March 2 at CCTO church located on the
corner of Avenida de Las Flores and Keats.
This class will begin at 6:30pm and end at 9pm.
Shirts and caps will be handed out at this
meeting if you need one. We will have a quiz on
some playing rules,
strike zone, interference and on the
supplemental rules. The supplemental rules are
on line at
www.cvll.net and you are expected to bring a
copy with you to the meeting. We will also cover
time cards and expectations.
